Staff

Kim was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland.  She holds a B.S. in Human Services from Stevenson University in Baltimore, Maryland.  While a Junior at Stevenson, Kim was selected to take part in the competitive Walter Sondheim Nonprofit Leadership Program through UMBC. As a Sondheim intern, she completed an intensive summer program at the Book Bank, which included work site experience and professional development.  Kim has a passion for public service and experience with a number of diverse populations.  In addition to The Maryland Book Bank, she was worked and interned for several nonprofit organizations such as the Howard County Department of Human Services, Our Daily Bread, and ShareBaby.  As Program Manager at The Maryland Book Bank, Kim has held integral roles in developing and expanding the Maryland Book Bank Ravens Bookmobile, Book Bank Membership, and Home Library Project.
